Learn about Día de los Muertos traditions and make Day of the Dead-inspired art at this bilingual English/ Spanish event. Together we’ll decorate a large ofrenda altar to honor loved ones, then you’ll get to make your own calavera skull mask and beautiful paper flowers to take home.

Every Drop Counts - Kids' Craft Eventhey water

Did you know the average family of four in the U.S. uses 400 gallons of water every day? We can do better, and kids can help! At this event, children in Kindergarten through second grade will listen to stories and make their own stick puppet art project while learning about how they can save water and help our planet thrive.

Congratulations to our 25 semi-finalists!  Now it's your turn to vote! Come in to the Library before Sunday, October 31 to vote for your five favorite bookmarks. Five winners will have their art made into real bookmarks for everyone to use at the Library. 

One vote per person, please. Voting closes Sunday, October 31 at 5:00pm.

Children's Book Packs

Order a Children's Book Pack to get a selection of books hand-chosen by your librarians! Select the themes you like and we will place ten books on hold for you to pick up at the Mill Valley Public Library. This is a great way to get picture books and early readers.
